As a part of the joint initiative by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) and Gesellschaft f?r Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), organization of the trainings keeps going on.
At the subsequent training held in Baku Business Centre, namely "Export procedures and regulations", entrepreneurs, business people and lots of producers (manufacturers) took part in.
During the training, the participants were given practical information about export procedures and required documents, customs regimes, identification of customs code of products, calculation of customs duties and GSP (GSP+).
Worth to note that, at the first workshop organized in May under the same project, the entrepreneurs were fully informed about preparation of business and marketing plans, market research strategies and other related themes.
Cooperation Forum under "Get Ready to Export" held!
On 1 August, Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) jointly with German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) organized Cooperation Forum under the Project "Get Ready to Export!". Representatives of various local companies and entrepreneurs attended the forum.
During the meeting, the overall evaluation over the trainings held previously under the same project ("Export and Marketing" and "Export procedures and regulations")has been done and comments and suggestions have been noted to adapt the subsequent trainings to the needs of the participants. The establishment of cooperation platform has also been widely discussed.
Subsequent training in the frame "Get Ready to Export!"
On 12 October, under the Project "Get Ready to Export!" relaized jointly by Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) and German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the training program on "Certification and labeling" took place.
Detailed information on main principles of ISO 9001, HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, EAC certification systems and packaging and labeling in EU has been given to 15 entrepreneurs by international certification and standardization experts.
The training ended with practical assignments and discussions session.
